One Punch Man Season 3’s Release Date is Officially Revealed for October 5th by J.C. STAFF, though it won’t really start until October 12th due to the First Episode Being a Recap

Season 3 Covers one of the Series’ Most Major Fights from the Arc that fans have been patiently waiting for and we will list them all here in this Thread

1. Saitama’s Third Encounter with Garou

The Encounter takes place after Garou has already been steadily evolving through multiple fights with heroes and monsters. By this point he has defeated or fended off numerous heroes, pushing himself closer to his “Hero Hunter” ideal and mutating further with each battle. Saitama finds Garou again, largely by coincidence, after hearing about the chaos he’s causing. Unlike their earlier meetings (where Saitama casually smacked him down or brushed him off without realizing Garou’s seriousness), this time Saitama takes more notice of him.

2. GAROU VS MONSTER KING OROCHI

Garou, after hunting and fighting countless heroes, is captured and brought to the Monster Association headquarters. The Monster King Orochi, ruler of the Monster Association, confronts him to test his strength and decide if he’s worthy of joining their ranks. An all out battle begins and is definitely one of the fights to look out for this season.

3. Tatsumaki vs Evil Eye

This battle happens during the Monster Association Arc, when the Hero Association launches a full-scale raid on the Monster Association’s hideout in Z-City.

The fight happens mid-raid, when Tatsumaki and other heroes are clearing out Z-City. Evil Eye shows up as a Dragon-level esper monster hoping to prove himself, but Tatsumaki is ready for a fight.

4. FLASHY FLASH VS HELLFIRE FLAME AND GALE WIND

In the Monster Association Arc, Flashy Flash confronts his former ninja clanmates, Hellfire Flame and Gale Wind, who have become Demon-level monsters after undergoing monsterization. The two coordinate their fire and wind techniques at incredible speeds, boasting that they’ve surpassed human limits, but Flashy Flash effortlessly keeps pace and outclasses them with superior speed, reflexes, and swordsmanship. Even when they unleash their most powerful combined assaults, Flashy Flash adapts instantly and finishes them both with his ultimate move, cutting them down in an instant.

5. Sweet Mask vs. Do-S and Narinki’s Private Squad

During the Monster Association Arc, Sweet Mask confronts the sadistic whip-wielding monster Do-S and Narinki’s elite private squad, who have fallen under her mind control. While the squad attacks him relentlessly under her influence, Sweet Mask easily withstands their assaults thanks to his monstrous strength and endurance. He coldly and brutally defeats the brainwashed soldiers without hesitation, seeing them as disposable pawns rather than victims, and then dismantles Do-S herself with overwhelming force.

6. TATSUMAKI VS GYORO GYORO

Tatsumaki faces Gyoro Gyoro, the esper monster who commands the association from underground. Gyoro Gyoro assaults her with powerful psychic attacks, crushing debris, and massive constructs, confident that his enhanced body and psychic abilities will overwhelm her. However, Tatsumaki effortlessly counters his techniques, shattering his psychic barriers and overwhelming his constructs with ease. As the battle escalates, she exposes Gyoro Gyoro’s true form the human mastermind Psykos hidden inside the monster’s body.

7. Zombieman vs Pureblood

Zombieman, the S-Class hero with endless regeneration, battles Pureblood, a powerful vampire-type monster. Pureblood completely outclasses him in speed and strength, slicing Zombieman apart repeatedly and mocking his inability to die. Despite being torn apart again and again, Zombieman’s relentless regeneration allows him to keep fighting, wearing Pureblood down mentally as much as physically. Though he takes countless fatal injuries, Zombieman never stops getting back up, and eventually he manages to destroy Pureblood with sheer persistence.

8. CHILD EMPEROR VS PHEONIX MAN

Child Emperor battles Phoenix Man, a monster with the ability to resurrect and evolve after defeat. Using his arsenal of advanced gadgets, including the powerful Brave Giant battle suit, Child Emperor initially gains the upper hand and pushes Phoenix Man to the brink. However, Phoenix Man’s revival ability allows him to resurrect stronger each time, adapting to Child Emperor’s tactics and gradually overwhelming him. Despite his resourcefulness and determination, Child Emperor is ultimately pushed beyond his limits, forced to fight desperately while facing the despair of an enemy that won’t stay down. The clash highlights both the brilliance and courage of Child Emperor, as well as the terrifying nature of Phoenix Man’s evolution, making it one of the most grueling and emotionally charged battles of the arc.

9. PURI PURI PRISONER VS BAQUMA

PURI PURI PRISONER confronts Baquma, a powerful centipede-type monster. Despite Baquma’s monstrous size, speed, and sharp blades, Puri-Puri Prisoner engages him head-on, relying on his raw strength, resilience, and signature “Angel” techniques. The battle is brutal, with Baquma’s slashing attacks inflicting serious wounds, but Puri-Puri Prisoner’s endurance and determination allow him to withstand the onslaught. Through sheer persistence and physical might, he eventually overpowers and defeats Baquma, proving his growth since past battles and showing that his unwavering spirit can carry him through even against high-level monsters.

10. SAITAMA VS OVERGRWON ROVER

Saitama encounters Overgrown Rover, a gigantic dragon-level guard dog monster that unleashes devastating energy blasts strong enough to annihilate most heroes. Rover fires at Saitama multiple times, shaking the entire underground base, but Saitama casually endures the attacks without a scratch. Annoyed, he responds with a single light tap to Rover’s head, instantly overwhelming the beast. Instead of killing him, however, Saitama’s casual strike frightens Rover into submission, and the once-ferocious monster cowers before him like a timid pet. The encounter highlights both Saitama’s effortless supremacy and his unintentionally intimidating presence, turning a dragon-class threat into a harmless follower in seconds.

One Punch Man Season 3 Expectations

In conclusion, One Punch Man Season 3 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated returns in anime, with its official premiere date set for October 5th (and the true start on October 12th after the recap episode). By diving into the Monster Association Arc, the season will finally bring to life some of the series’ most intense and memorable battles that fans have been waiting years to see animated. With J.C. STAFF back at the helm, expectations are high, and the lineup of upcoming fights promises both spectacle and emotional weight. For longtime viewers, One Punch Man Season 3 represents not just the continuation of Saitama’s journey, but the arrival of the arc that defines the scale, stakes, and heart of One Punch Man.
