a New Web Domain kagurabachi.jp has been registered in Japan, a similar situation occured before Sakamoto Days Anime Adaptation Announcement where sakamotodays.jp was registered. Similar to the recent Kill Blue Anime Adaptation.
While this could be a false flag like a ‘Goodbye Eri’ Movie rumor which turned out to be a completely different thing there is more to back it up here.
Shueisha Filed Legal Documents with Fees Paid for a Kagurabachi Anime Adaptation
Shueisha had first filed for Sakamoto Days, Blue Box and more popular series in 2021 where they were greenlit for an Anime Adaptation, although the Official Announcement took years to come, the legal documents have directly stated the intent to use in TV Anime Adaptation Production.
Here comes Kagurabachi, where Shueisha filed for Kill Blue, Akane-Banashi, Kagurabachi and Nue’s Exorcist TV Anime Adaptation IPs in January 2024.
With Kill Blue & Akane-Banashi being announced recently, this makes the current situation completely likely to happen. That would leave Nue’s Exorcist as the only Anime Adaptation left to Announce.

a Reliable Japanese News Media had one of its popular journalists break the news that Kagurabachi is indeed in production at CygamesPictures (Umamusume)
The Person spoke to Shueisha Officials who not only confirmed the news but also shared their new mindset of picking smaller studios that aren’t busy rather than ones like MAPPA & Wit Studio for Kagurabachi and other New Hit Shonen Jump Titles.
When will Kagurabachi be Announced?
it is likely that Kagurabachi will receive an Announcement within the next few days or weeks judging by Shueisha‘s recent pattern.
